Christine Coombs

Christine started her art education at age four. She studied with many private teachers en route to the Rhode Island School of Design and the Syracuse University School of Art. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards, and can be found in private, corporate, and government collections including those of actress Kirsty Alley, actor Parker Stevenson, former owner of Maine Times and world circumnavigator Dodge Morgan, and noted international art collectors.

Christine has been featured in several publications including Covey Rise Magazine, Artist Magazine, Down East Books, and Upland Almanac Magazine. She has also illustrated two childrens’ books, Orphan and Good Companions, written by Era Zistel.
